How To Become The Healthiest Version Of You In 2022!!
The thought of commitment, in the sense of promising something, especially to myself, used to make me nervous. Not knowing when the commitment would end, what I would be giving up, not knowing if it was sustainable, and most of all if it was really worth my time (as little as I already had). Instead of being excited about commitment, I was nervous of how much more would be stacked on my plate! When you look backward, hindsight becomes 20/20, but when you look forward the vision can be blurry until you bring it into focus. It's on us to help bring our own future into focus by making the right moves now and prepare ourselves for what what we want to come down the road.
One of the most lucrative ways to move forward in life is to fill your own cup first. I know...that seems counter-intuitive to us Moms that have always put family needs in front of our own needs for so long. I was definitely guilty of this, obviously coming from a good place, but I finally learned to fill my own cup first, which overflows to fill my family's cups too!

Being far too familiar with helping others achieve their goals first, this whole thought process of putting me first, was hard to wrap my head around. There are so many different routes you can take, but I highly suggest meeting your obstacles head on. The best way to manage boulders in your path is face first, wide-eyed, and alert. If you've attempted this in the past and failed, let that go. You owe yourself a redo.

I'm not talking major drastic changes either, taking small steps in the right direction, collectively will add up. We don't need to replace potato chips with kale chips...that's drastic. But you could start by switching to baked potato chips instead of fried. You could start moving any processed meals to meals that use ingredients that don't come in a package. It's not a strict diet to follow, it's more of a healthier mentality that will lead you to a better diet naturally. To make this change sustainable, your body has to prefer eating healthier foods. That doesn't happen by eliminating specific foods or meals from your plate every day.
